Dovercourt Boys’ & Girls’ Club is THE CLUB THAT BEATS THE STREETS. Growing up should be fun and the magic of Dovercourt is just that. Since 1958 we have provided a place where having a good time is uniquely mixed with learning and safety. Only OUR club offers this combination of supervised activities through our various programs such as:
**PROGRAM HOURS ARE: Weekdays – 4:00pm – 5:30pm & 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Saturdays: 9:30am – 12:30pm**
Swimming Pool: Swimming Lessons, Aqua Fit, Water Games, Free Swim and more
Gym: Hockey, Soccer, Basketball and every other sport with leagues and competitions weekly
Technology Learning Centre (TLC): Internet, Computer Classes, Photoshop Classes, Xbox 360 and our Award Winning Video Group
Games Room: Ping Pong, Peg Pool, Table Hockey, Air Hockey, Gitoni and Pool with monthly tournaments
Library: Homework Help, Board Games, DVD Games and much more with monthly tournaments
Arts & Crafts Room: Daily Arts & Crafts activities as well as weekly and monthly projects
Computer Room: Internet, Video Games, Computer Lessons and weekly tournaments
TOTS: Our Tots Program is available for 5 & 6 year olds. The tots get to participate in ALL our regular programs with their specialized tots staff, as well as participating in special daily activities with only their age group.
*During the school year the Tots Program is only available Saturdays from 9:30am – 12:30pm.
KICKSTART: An exciting program for 6, 7 and 9 year olds that helps them transition from the Tots Program to the regular club programs. The Kickstart Program includes all aspects of the club and allows our younger members to have the extra the help and instruction that they need.
Kid’s Korner Daycare: Daycare is available for children 2 1/2 to 12 years old. Weekdays 7:30am to 6:00pm. Toronto Children Services Subsidy is available. For more information contact the Kid’s Korner Supervisor at 416 – 533 – 3009.
SPECIAL EVENTS…
Although we have LOTS of activities to do everyday we also have some VERY special events. We have annual Halloween Parties (with a VERY SCARY haunted house), Christmas Parties (with a visit and gift from Santa), Community Festivals (with LOTS of games and prizes), Christmas and March Break Programs and of course our famous Summer Program.
